Oregon is a medium density firewood with a medium-high heat output.
About half of this is dry and the rest is very close. It is stored outside so has been ‘weathered’ on (rain, frost etc). It would need to be sorted and stored in an open well ventilated shed. Give it a week under cover and you won’t know it was rained on.
This is one of our most popular firewoods and is a particular favourite for many of our clients. Oregon provides good heat output and is also slow burning. It is very easy to start a fire with and burns cleanly. It also has the unique ability to shed rain, making it suitable for burning during long wet winters.
